Why’s Gifting hard
Firstly, we have in recent times been going through lots of financial struggles with things getting more expensive all the time & no sign that’s stopping soon.
At least not without a hard reset by means of a Global Market Crash.
But that aside gifting really is hard.
Which is why I have been trying to understand this a bit better across different generations, let alone across different regions of the world.#
This is why I have a on going Gift List on Amazon of things that I’d like to get myself or give to others.
This is something that I want to build something like Amazon Wish Lists/GIft Lists but takes this concept up a notch and not just past 10 to 11, but all the way too 100.
The fact I have this designed in my mind already, is crazy, along with at least another 10k not small projects either.
Shame I don’t have a team behind me to make them all a reality.
But yeah Gifting is hard
The most important gift we can give is time.
Time that I know, is slowly counting down & for me, the countdown is ticking faster than I had wanted it to be at this point.
That is only due the last few years, cos homelessness/joblessness is not a great combo, nor was loosing my dad in way we lost him
And whilst I attempted and aptly allowed myself to have failed in my attempts this year around with the experiment for the Derby PowerShell & Global Azure Gathering, there were plenty lessons learnt from it.
So whilst I want to say Save the Date of May 10th 2026 I’m going to say save 8th - 10th instead.
Because one way or another I’ll bring you the one of the many different kinds of events I envisioned.
Which of them - who knows
But it will be a gift from me to you that’s for sure!
